Jordan Brand has decided to bring this special colorway back as a part of an Air Jordan “Do the Right Thing” Pack that is inspired by the Spike Lee movie, Do the Right Thing. The final version of this shoe will not feature the graphic inside of the shoe.Originally called the “DTRT’s” or “Do The Right Things,” these were released in July of 2009. The original samples contained a unique print on the sockliners but they got rid of that on the released version. This marks the first time the Air Jordan I retroed any “metallic” colorways inspired by the originals released in ’85 – ’86. Retail on these was $100 and this colorway was a limited release and available only in men’s sizes.
Jordan stays true to the original with the highly anticipated Air Jordan I AJKO. Complete with a vintage finish, this retro release is an absolutely fresh interpretation of the only Air Jordan model that debuted with a textile .2010 marks the 25th anniversary of the Jordan Brand, to celebrate this momentous occasion Jordan Brand has decided to retro one of the shoes that made the footwear giant so special.
